When Life No Longer Looks The Way It Used To
GENTLE, PERSONALISED RECOVERY COACHING AFTER ILLNESS, INJURY OR A MAJOR HEALTH EVENT
When life no longer looks the way it used to because of illness, injury, or a major health event, everything can change in an instant. At first, you're often carried along by appointments, tests, treatments and the support of those around you.
But as the appointments become less frequent and life begins to settle, the emotional, practical and personal challenges often become clearer. Whether that's weeks, months or even years later, it can feel as though everyone else has moved on while you're still trying to find your footing. The appointments may become less frequent, but the questions become louder, you don't have to figure it out alone.
I'm Tracey Livingston-Stephens, founder of On the Pulse Health. I help people understand what's happened, process their new reality and prepare for what comes next after illness, injury or a major health event.
Together, we work through what this change means for you, explore what matters most, and create a path forward that feels possible and meaningful. Whether you’re adjusting after treatment, living with an ongoing condition, recovering from surgery, or simply trying to rediscover who you are after everything has changed, this is a space where you can move forward one step and a time.
Through a combination of lived experience, research-informed coaching, and compassionate support, I walk alongside you as you navigate the space between medical care and everyday life.
My Recovery Coaching services complement the guidance you receive from your GP, specialist or wider healthcare team. Together, we'll turn that advice into everyday routines that fit your energy, your values and your real life.
Recovery isn't about doing everything at once. We'll work through what this change means for you — clarifying priorities, identifying obstacles, and building practical habits that support your recovery. You remain at the centre, choosing the steps that feel right for you.
Here's how we can work together:
✨ On the Other Side Group Coaching - a shared 5-session group experience
✨ Life in the Next Chapter - supportive recovery coaching personalised for you
✨ The Recovery Snapshot Starter - a 3-session starting point for clarity and support
Together, we'll rebuild confidence, wellbeing and hope for the future.
Common Queries
What happens in the first session?
In our first session, I'll work with you to create a safe and supportive environment where you can share your concerns, challenges, and goals. I'll listen to your story, ask questions, and help you gain insight into your situation. I may use a variety of techniques, such as mindfulness exercises or cognitive-behavioral therapy, to help you identify negative patterns and develop coping strategies. Together, we'll create a plan of action to achieve your goals.
Your investment in coaching?
Everyone's journey is different. The cost of coaching depends on the type of support that's right for you. I offer a range of packages and sessions, so you can choose the level of support that meets you where you are. Contact me directly for more information on pricing, and to explore your options - whether you'd like 1:1 coaching, family sessions, or group support.
Do I join online or in person?
I offer coaching primarily online, so you can join sessions from anywhere that suits you. Online sessions are conducted via secure video conferencing and provide the convenience of meeting from the comfort of your own space. For clients who live nearby, there may also be opportunities to connect in person - for example, through a walking coaching session once we've built a relationship.
How can you make a difference?
I understand how life can change in an instant - because I've lived it. My coaching brings together lived experience, holistic health training, and a trauma-aware approach to support you as you navigate life after a diagnosis, medical event, or loss.
Through gentle guidance and evidence-informed tools such as ACT, I can help you:
🍃 explore what matters most to you
🍃rebuild routines that nurture both body and mind
🍃create a path forward that feels possible and meaningful
I don't promise quick fixes - instead, I walk alongside you as you take each step. Together, we explore options and approaches, and you choose the changes that feel right for you, so there is confidence, purpose and hope for tomorrow.
